Maquenda Camp Mozambique

Maqueda Mozambique opened six campsites due to popular demand. These sites are situated under beautiful trees and is very neat and well maintained. We offer only six campsites ranging from a 6 tent stand to two tent stands depending on your needs.
Maqueda Camp is a rustic and well appointed camp situated 89 km North of Maputo the capital of Mozambique. The camp is small and consists of six campsites with all required amenities. There are four well equipped ablution blocks with warm showers and flush toilets.

Please note that a 4X4 vehicle is required to reach the camp as you drive through very sandy terrain en route. Maqueda Camp also offer the facility of setting up a camp for you if you do not have the necessary camping gear. This includes tents, sleeping 2 guests per tent, beds and mattresses. You will also have use of the kitchen facilities and a fridge and freezer.

Travel in your 4x4 vehicle to the beautiful Maqueda Camp, Mozambique. Experience off road-travel through sand and dense bush on the way to your beautiful campsite under indigenous trees. Walk for miles on secluded white beaches and feel the African sun on your skin or swim in the warm Indian Ocean. Fishermen reel in your “catch of the day” and prepare it on a crackling campfire under the most spectacular star-lit sky. Snorkel along the beautiful reefs and enjoy the abundance of sea life.

This is also one of the few places in Mozambique where you are allowed to drive and park your vehicle on the beach for approximately 1 km north or south and enjoy your day on the beach.
